After meeting with the client to discuss their project requirements, I created a creative brief to serve as a guideline. This document allows me to keep track of important notes and details as I work on the project.
In the creative brief, I ensured to include due dates to guide the project, ensuring it is completed in a timely manner and meets the client’s needs.
Date for first drafts of projects
Date for meeting with the client to discuss first drafts
Dates for when the final project is to be completed
First Draft
This is the first draft of the final presentation that was presented to the client. She requested the inclusion of an image of her dog on the product; however, instead of a simple picture, she wanted an outline or drawing of her dog. Additionally, she asked for the product labels to feature the flavor name along with a few key ingredients.
Her contact information will also be included on the label, but it has been redacted for privacy reasons.
The client did not approve the first draft, noting that the image of the dog was too filled in and lacked sufficient detail. She also mentioned, “Even though you can tell it’s a dog, you can’t tell if it’s Lucy.”
As a result, we went back to the drawing board and presented the client with a new image.
Label Design
The label design the client was presented with for the final draft, she was extremely happy with the result.
“Now that’s what I was looking for, not only can you see Lucy, but the happiness that she has for getting treats!”
Then she asked if I could draft up some business cards as well. So I drafted up some layouts of them as well.
Business Card Design
Client wanted single sides business cards with the name of the company and her contact information
